What is the National AI Certification Board (NAICB)?
NAICB is a professional certification body that provides AI training and 10 AI credentials across 3 tiers for professionals, businesses, and government employees. Every class counts toward a credential and toward your continuing education.
Is NAICB's government AI training certified?
Yes. NAICB's Government AI Awareness training program is certified by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) under Texas law. The certification applies to the training program content and is valid through August 31, 2027.
How much do NAICB classes cost?
Individual classes range from $349 to $750 depending on the program, and fast-track credential bundles are discounted 20–25%. Government AI Awareness training starts at $349 self-paced.
How are classes delivered, and how long are they?
Most classes are self-paced and run about 60–90 minutes each, so you can learn on your own schedule. The Government and Foundation (Core) programs also offer instructor-led live virtual sessions.
How do I earn an NAICB credential?
Complete the required classes for your credential tier and pass the credential exam. Once awarded, each credential receives a unique number that anyone can confirm at naicb.org/verify.
